Abstract: 

Objective: This study tested the fit of the Teacher's Report form (TRF) syndrome structure in a sample of non-referred students. Method: This research used some part of the Minaee's study (1384 - 2005) data. 693 male and 588 female students had been randomly selected from primary, secondary and high schools in Tehran. A correlated 8-syndrome model was tested via confirmatory factor analysis of the TRF ratings of 1281 students from Tehran.Results: The results supported the fit of the 8-syndrome model for Farsi-Speaking students.Conclusion: Accordingly, we can conclude that factor Analysis of Teacher's Report form is a reliable instrument to evaluate 8 types of behavioral and emotional disorders in Tehran.

Abstract: 

Aim of the present study was to examine the validity and reliability of positive psychotherapy questionnaire (PPTQ) and the relationship of its components with flourishing and dysfunctional attitudes. To do so, a group of 1416 students were selected. Population of the study included all students of the universities of Mashhad city, khorasan Province, in the academic year 2017. These subjects were selected through multistage cluster sampling method. Participants filled the questionnaires of PPTQ, FQ and DAS-24. Alpha Cronbach and confirmatory factor analysis were used for determining the reliability and validity of the questionnaire respectively. Findings demonstrated that PPTQ and flourishing questionnaire subscales were positively correlated. Internal consistency of PPTQ was 0.85. Therefore, based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 21-item PPTQ can be reliable and valid enough in Iranian students.

Abstract: 

Friction factor plays a substantial role in hydraulic computations. In coarse-gravel bed rivers, friction factor depends on grain size and bed forms. A wide range of particle sizes and developing armor layer have great effects on friction factor. To this end, determination of the form friction factor of armored river beds has been investigated in this study and, a friction equation was developed based on computing grain friction factor of the total friction factor. Analysis of obtained equation showed that the friction factor is rather independent of grain-size distribution of the bed material and the maximum grain size of this material. The major controlling parameter is the slope of the energy grade line. These results are explained by the coupling of the friction factor with the incipient motion problem and the rearrangement of the grains of the coarsest fraction in the armor coat. To verify the equation, Keulegan method was used which results 80% agreement between two methods. Also, including the major part of total friction factor to form friction factor (40%) shows the significant effects of bed form on flow resistance. The results of the current study showed that formation and development of armor layer increase bed roughness and friction factor and decrease average flow velocity causing a reduction in threshold Shields parameter and augmentation in bed stability. Field observations are employed to test the methods.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this study is structured and validated questionnaire willpower- based Iranian - Islamic culture that description of the research method of content analysis and factor analysis has been prepared. Content and construct validity of this questionnaire has been approved by a group of teachers of Islamic sciences and psychology. Reliability and validity of the questionnaire by 400 students of Tehran, Tehran University of Medical Sciences and is supported by PNU students with random sampling, cluster sampling was selected. Structured questionnaire, factor analysis, principal component method and rotated Varyrnks examined the results suggest get six motivational factors, worship, cognitive, cognitive, emotional and behavioral reserved. KMO index and the Bartlett also check the validity of the scale and the KMO index 0.910 and significant coefficient (Sig) is equal to 0.000, indicating the suitability of factor analysis to identify the structure of the factor model is valid. Cronbach’s alpha scale reliability of the questionnaire was obtained, indicating the reliability of this questionnaire is 0.933. Therefore, a questionnaire with 37 questions will evaluate the results of the factor structure was appropriate and qualified for psychological research and clinical diagnostic activities is.

Abstract: 

Nowadays, the fundamental role of having a purpose for life in physical and mental health has been confirmed. According to victor frankl, presence of a purpose in life gives life a meaning and increases resilience against pains and traumas. The importance of the purpose in life construct reveals the need for a reliable and valid tool to measure it. Crumbaugh and Maholick's purpose in life questionnaire is the first and one of the most applied tools for the assessment of life's purposefulness. The aim of this research is to determine the factor structure of purpose in life questionnaire. The questionnaire was administered on 206 students who were selected through random stratified sampling at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. Exploratory factor analysis showed that there are two factors "comprehension" and "purpose" and this finding were confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. Altogether results of this research showed factor validity of the purpose in life questionnaire with a two factor pattern

Abstract: 

orm factor is one of the most important factors for determining the tree volume. Numerical value of the form factor depends on factors such as tree species, habitat, stand density, age, and some environmental factors and is calculated using various formulas. This study was performed to determine the most appropriate form factor formula in the plantation stands of Turkish pine (Pinus brutia Ten.) located in the northern city of Khorramabad. Totally 30 trees were selected and cut. The actual volume of each tree was determined by using the volume of cylinder, Smalian and cone formulas. For each tree, the form factors: Actual (¦r), Natural (¦0.1), Artificial (¦1.3) and Hohenadel (h f) and Slenderness coefficient was calculated. Three coefficients natural, artificial and Hohenadel, using pair-wise comparison test were compared with the actual form factor. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the actual form factor and the three other coefficients (natural, artificial, and Hohenadel) at the 95% probability level, and therefore none of them can replace the actual form factor. The stand slenderness coefficient (H/DBH) is 55.1 and therefore it was stable at this stage. Comparing the geometric shape of the 120 pieces measured with geometric volumes showed that 50.8% of the parts were in the form of neloeid, 44.2 % in the form of paraboloid and 5% in the form of cones.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Coagulation factor X is an important protein in the blood coagulation pathway. It contains significant structural features that affect its function. The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural-functional features of activated form of factor X in the presence of calcium ions. factor X consists of 4 domains. Gamma-carboxyl glutamic acid (GLA) domain contains negatively charged and hydrophobic amino acids. These two amino acid groups with contrasting characteristics are responsible for binding to calcium ions and the membrane respectively, so it provides appropriate folding of factor X in the presence of calcium ions. Epidermal growth factor-like domain (Epidermal growth factor) which includes EGF1 and EGF2 is the edge between GLA and serine protease domain (SP) and it is involved in binding calcium.Methods: Gathering and collecting of data has been done from molecular research in this area. It includes descriptions of three-dimensional structural characteristics of the factor X.Conclusion: The catalytic role of factor X is performed by SP domain; which made the heavy chain of factor X. Amino acids of SP domain play role in binding factor X to different activator and inhibitor.

Abstract: 

Oriental beech (Fagus orientalis Lipsky) is one of the most valuable tree species that covers 17. 6% of the area and make up 30% of the stand volume in the Hyrcanian forests. This study aimed to update the form factor and to improve the volume table of this species. For this purpose, we applied random sampling method to collect field data from 150 beech trees in different diameter at breast height (D. B. H) classes (30-135 cm) based on inventory and marking list of 2015-2016. The sample trees were distributed in five forest management plan area including Livan, Vatana, Kordkuy, Shamushak, and Dr. Bahramnia. In each tree, D. B. H and diameter at 0. 1, 0. 3, 0. 5, 0. 7 and 0. 9 of tree height, as well as diameter at two tops of 2 m long logs were measured. Finally the tree volume, true, natural, artificial and Hohnadl form factor for each tree was computed. The results showed that true, natural, artificial, and Hohnadl form factor value were 0. 503, 0. 464, 0. 407 and 0. 454, respectively. There were significant statistical differences between the true, artificial and natural with Hohnadl form factor (α = 0. 05). The difference between true and natural form factor was not significant. Also, the results showed that there was significant difference between the computed volume and the volume driven from volume table (tariff); the greatest differences between the mentioned volumes estimated was mainly in the large D. B. H classes. According to the results, we can conclude that the natural form factor can be applied to determine the beech form factor.
